Koi in the Pond · every fish has a name

Lean closer. It becomes a pond — and every fish has a name.

White, crimson, ink-black, tricolor — more than thirty koi varieties, proportioned to reflect real koi populations. Each fish develops its own size, speed and schooling behavior; no two are alike.

Beneath the Surface

Every detail
tested against real water

A school that feels alive

They align, dodge, cluster and scatter. Their schooling behavior is tuned against real fish footage: they do not snap into formation in unfamiliar water, they gather in small groups when calm, and only rush together at feeding time.

A living web of light

The shimmer on the water is not a texture — it is a refractive light field calculated in real time. Bright lines wind, fork and slowly reform, drifting with the breeze. Clear and bright by day, fading to one-third of that brightness at night.

The pond keeps its own clock

It follows your desktop’s clock: golden at dawn, clear at noon, amber at dusk, ink at night. Fish drift under the lily pads to rest; the turtle and crab slowly patrol the pond’s edge.

Touch the Water

Your fingertip is
one click from the water

01

Feeding

Click the water to scatter a handful of food; fish near and far will return to feed, then drift off on their own.

02

Draw them closer

Move your fingertip along the surface and curious fish nearby will follow — like teasing a cat through glass.

03

Bottom-dweller neighbors

The turtle likes strolling between the lily pads and the pond wall; the crab walks sideways. They leave each other in peace.

Between work and a moment of rest
there is only a pane of glass and water.
